Thanksgiving 2022
11/28/2022

Thanksgiving Day, Red Rabbit Advocacy spent the morning cooking and then shared a turkey dinner with about 50 of our street family. We served turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing and carrots. Not only that, we were blessed by Podesto’s with 50 pies to share around town. We were able to disburse hygiene bags to some as well. We met up with our friends J. Jonah, Shawn, Johnny Ray and Mone across the northside of Stockton and Eva, Drea, Sharon, Jacob, Tino, Anna last but not least, Ogre.
Over the Thanksgiving weekend we also collected several donations of clothing, blankets, pillows and other household goods. We went out to meet with a client that had been referred to us from Homeless Outreach with SJ Behavioral Health who had been noticed that they were going to be displaced. God stepped in and the day before the displacement, a friend of Debra Ann and David’s called to bless them with a motor home. No longer are they in a tent. We were able to take them some of the donations we received over the weekend as well as some of the pies from Podesto’s and a box of food. Ironically, her daughter had contacted me just before SJBH did and asked if I could help her mom. God had a plan for them and I am thankful to have been part of that. There is a lot coming up this week and we look forward to keeping you all up to date in our daily activities.
Just to give you all something to look forward to, we are starting a new project this week, which will be sure to be exciting and captivating! Stay tuned to the website for further information! God Bless You and thank you for your support!
