Christmas Toy Giveaway

This year, Red Rabbit Advocacy was able to facilitate with our community members an amazing Toy Giveaway. Instead of just one person buying a present for a child they don’t know anything about, we gave specific wish lists to someone from our neighborhood and they filled the child’s wish list! This was absolutely beautiful. The children that we service that are homeless or coming out of homelessness had a wonderful blessing this holiday. We then sent pictures of our kids to the community donator so that they were able to actually see the blessing that their contribution provided for that family. I loved doing this in this manner because it created a much closer and and more intimate relationship within our community members. Some of our donators actually met with the families in need and provided the gifts directly to the family. We also were blessed to partner with the Pacific Italian Alliance and coordinate donation of gifts for all of the children at Gospel Center Rescue Mission. Lastly, we had an anonymous donation of around 30 quilts which we provided for the individuals staying in recuperative care at Gospel Center to keep them warm this winter.
